America’s Freedom Tribute to Make Stop in Commerce to Honor Fallen HeroesCommerce, CA — America’s Freedom Tribute would like to announce to the people of Commerce that the American Veterans Traveling Tribute’s (AVTT) Traveling Vietnam Wall and Cost of Freedom Tribute will be on display for the public at Rosewood Park, 5600 Harbor Street, Commerce, CA 90040 from May 22 to May 26, 2026. "The City of Commerce is honored to welcome the Traveling Vietnam Wall and Cost of Freedom Tribute to our City as a powerful reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and service of our nation’s heroes,” said Mayor Lainez. “This tribute presents our community an opportunity to reflect and pay tribute to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of our freedoms. We are thankful to the veterans and families who have carried this legacy, and we remain committed to remembering their sacrifice—not just through words, but through continued respect and support to veterans, service members, and military families within our community.”The confirmed location for the American Veterans Traveling Tribute is Rosewood Park, 5600 Harbor Street, Commerce, CA 90040. With various tributes available, the 80% replica will be displayed. Standing at 8 feet tall at the highest apex, this tribute is 360 feet long. It also includes the Cost of Freedom Tribute which honors all of our other major wars and conflicts such as: WWI, WWII, Korea, Desert Storm, Somalia, 9/11, Iraq and Afghanistan. The Tribute Wall travels across the country showcasing the names and acknowledging their sacrifices but also educating our youth so that history may never die! “We are excited to partner with the City of Commerce to offer this experience and make this event one to remember,” said AFT Event Coordinator Kylah Doherty.We are looking for volunteers, donations, and participation from the community.
