This exciting two day conference taking place online offers a comprehensive experience for professionals involved in sign language interpreting and translation. The conference aims to improve practice and knowledge amongst sign language interpreters and translators in the UK, Ireland and beyond. Bringing our professions together!

Unlike most professional conferences, there is no requirement for membership or affiliation. Whether you are a translator or interpreter, a student, or an experienced linguist; all are welcome. As are those who would wish to join our professions in the future, regardless of their association or registration. This inclusive approach ensures that you have access to the advancements, research findings and best practices that benefit the entire profession.

We invite you to join us in celebrating this event that promotes unity, collaboration and growth within the sign language interpreting and translation community.

The theme of The Together Conference 2025, titled "Blurred Boundaries -Sharpening Perspectives", reflects the changing landscape of sign language interpretation and translation. With shifts in societal and professional dynamics and advancements in technology, the once-clear distinctions between roles and professional relationships are becoming more flexible. This theme encourages us to explore these transformations, acknowledging both the obstacles and possibilities they bring.
