The Todd E. Rodgers Pride Cabaret celebrates everything YOU. Inside the elegant Grand Opus Hall, enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres while being entertained by five of Gainesville's powerhouse performers: Marilyn Sharp, SHEYZĒ, Phia, Gabriel Eric and of course, Todd E. Rodgers himself. Local pianist Brian Hargrove tickles the ivories as live accompanist for the evening. This is the classiest (and sassiest) musical evening in Gainesville, followed by Queereoke to let you strut your stuff on the main stage.
Over the course of the evening, expect to enjoy queer theatre favorites like "La Vie Boheme" from Rent and “You Will Be Found” from Dear Evan Hansen, as well as pop hits like Chappell Roan's "Red Wine Supernova." The expansive repertoire of music will leave you tapping your toes and humming along all through the night. After the final bow, stay in the Grand Opus Hall for another cocktail as Gabriel Eric hosts open karaoke after the show.
Doors will open at 7:00pm, as will the bar in the Lucent Lounge. Please allow yourself ample time to park downtown and arrive before the show begins promptly at 7:15pm.
Tickets purchased in advance are guaranteed seating. Tickets bought at the door may be standing room only.
