Formed in North London in 2012, this acclaimed UK folk band have spent over a decade thrilling audiences across Europe with their unique blend of barn-storming, blues-infused Irish, American, and English folk music. Known for their foot-stomping energy and powerful musicianship, The Thumping Tommys have graced stages at festivals including Fairport’s Cropredy Convention, Wickham Festival, and Costa Del Folk, sharing the bill with legends such as Fairport Convention, Clannad, and The Fisherman’s Friends.
Now performing as a trio, they bring a rich mix of lively bluegrass, soulful ballads, and heartfelt original songs from their latest album, The Sharp Turns of Life. Expect fiery tunes, irresistible rhythms, and an evening of music that captures the spirit of storytelling and celebration.
