About this Event
Considered one of Shakespeare’s greatest plays—his crowning achievement and swan song to a thundering career as a world-shaking playwright—THE TEMPEST is a magical tale, a journey of revenge, love, family, and forgiveness. The lure of the great poet’s pen transports us to that fabled, uncharted isle, along with its unwary band of shipwrecked offenders. Prospera controls the island, its inhabitants, and its visitors by blurring reality and illusion so that nothing is what it seems. But, what good is her magical power if it forges fear instead of love?
Trevecca's production of THE TEMPEST runs April 4 through April 13 at Benson Theatre in McClurkan Hall on campus. General admission is $20. Tickets for children 10 and under are $15. TNU students with an ID are only $10. You may purchase tickets here or reserve them by calling 615-248-1370 during regular business hours.
