The Tea & Design Experience

The Tea & Design Experience, co-presented by ALT Alliance and Teasthetic, invites participants on a sensory journey where traditional tea rituals meet contemporary design and artistic expression.

This immersive session invites participants to explore the calming power of tea meditation, learning how mindful tea tasting can help regulate emotions and relieve stress. Through a multisensory experience engaging sight, smell, and taste, the event highlights the aesthetic philosophy of tea culture and its connection to design and art. It also fosters social connection by bringing together diverse creative minds to share stories and traditions over a tea table.

As part of the NYC Design Festival Spotlight, this event bridges heritage and innovation—celebrating tea as a medium for emotional well-being, artistic inspiration, and meaningful dialogue.
