The Swan Sessions | Warwick are relaxed, small-scale performances featuring between three and eight of the orchestra’s principal players, offering a fascinating mix of the timeless and the unexpected, from 14th-century street tunes and J.S. Bach to David Bowie, Vivaldi, Erik Satie and Radiohead.
Labyrinths is a bold and varied programme for string quartet exploring unexpected connections across musical styles and centuries. From the hypnotic patterns of Philip Glass, to the precise counterpoint of Bach, and from the raw edge of Velvet Underground to the serene clarity of Arvo Pärt, Labyrinths brings together classical masterpieces, modern icons and new voices.
Featuring striking new arrangements by David Le Page, this concert offers a fresh perspective on how music can reflect and challenge the paths we take – a journey through sound that continually shifts between reflection and revelation.
