The Supreme Court er en naturlig fortsættelse af den lykkelige forbindelse mellem jazz, hiphop, rapjazz, soul og lyrisk westcoast i Danmark siden 1960’erne. Bandet opstod for godt 10 år siden, og sidenhen har de manifesteret sig som et solidt, sprudlende og energisk liveband, både som rent instrumentalt orkester på diverse jazzklubber og som backing for skiftende solister som f.eks. Patrick Dorgan og Kuku Agami. Dette musikalske kollektiv har en fast kerne bestående af assist Jonathan Rahbæk, trommeslager Andreas Fryland og keyboardspiller Jacob Broholm, og de gæstes denne aften af guitaristen Niclas Knudsen, kendt fra Ibrahim Electric.

The Supreme Court is a natural continuation of the happy connection between jazz, hip hop, rap jazz, soul, and lyrical west coast in Denmark since the 1960s. The band arose about 10 years ago and has since established itself as a solid, vibrant, and energetic live band, both as a purely instrumental ensemble in various jazz clubs and as backing for various soloists such as Patrick Dorgan and Kuku Agami. This musical collective has a core consisting of assistant Jonathan Rahbæk, drummer Andreas Fryland, and keyboardist Jacob Broholm, and is joined this evening by guitarist Niclas Knudsen, known from Ibrahim Electric.
