I dropped in to Mikey's Sunday night. Blotty cold. Sooo worth heading out, though. Brian hosts a very decent blues jam, wherever he travels.The blend of Bownesians discovering Mikey's tables and chairs, and the jam host's own herd of blues lovers worked well. This was Brian's first night with this project at Mikey's... and I had a lot of fun.
So, I say... let's amp it up a bit, and fill the dance floor on a Sunday eve. This Sunday eve.
I will also be bold for a buddy here... Mike and clan could use a business boost, they are trying hard to keep an "everyday of the week live music" new location venue open in our troubling times. This jam night could turn into another weekly money day for them. I openly hope so. I will do my part, one Guiness and quesadilla at a time!
