The show is devised and performed by the Nart Company - storyteller Dawn Ellis and virtuoso singers Jo Foster, Sally Davies and Lucy Gibson bring to crackling life subversive myths from the wilder reaches of the Caucasus Mountains. Sorceress, woman or goddess? What kind of woman can seduce the sun itself, bear 100 hero sons, and live for hundreds of years without a wrinkle? What does it mean to live entirely without shame?
