About this Event
The Summer's Gone/Blackpool Film Showing with Phil Pearson
A double header of films written by Barrow's own Phil Pearson to kick start The Sea House Venue's film screenings.
The Summer's Gone is getting a home town premiere before it sets off around the world's film festivals and is backed by Phil's first short Blackpool.
The Summer's Gone features a mostly Barrovian cast and crew and was filmed at The Black Huts in Barrow.
The films will be followed by a Q&A with Phil along with Andrew Eliss (Blackpool and also in This Is England) and Julie Edwards (The Summer's Gone)
If that's not enough we have a return to the stage of Jon Byrne, who has a song featured in The Summer's Gone and Birds Of Europe.
There will be popcorn and ice cream and other refreshments from Women's Community Matters to make a wonderful start to film screenings at The Sea House
