Drawing upon the musical worlds of Sidney Bechet and Django Reinhardt, the Stromatolites are a three-piece ensemble featuring Simon Charles (soprano saxophone), Jeffery Harrold (bass), and Leon Pratt (double bass). Jazz with a twist of chamber music, sensitive ensemble playing and adventurous improvisation.
