Learn about the importance of brand image, strategic communications planning, best-practice interview skills, and what to do before, during, and after a crisis to help maintain your community's trust.

Day 1: Image and Brand of Law Enforcement
Info: Learn more about the relevance of brand, image and communication to law enforcement and community safety, the value of strategic communications plans (and how to create one).
Day 2

Day 2: Strategic Messaging
Info: Learn how to best communicate with your community via news releases, interviews and news conferences. The interview preparation process is key!
Day 3

Day 3: Crisis Communication
Info: Communication may be the most important role of an executive during a crisis. Learn what to do before, during, and after a crisis to help maintain community trust and resiliency.

Day 4: Bringing It Together
Info: The last day of the course includes a tabletop exercise that will put your skills to the ultimate test.
