Armin Gluck's Hungarian childhood was shattered when he was forced to leave school at gunpoint, march across Hungary and the Alps into Austria, and then he was imprisoned and put to work in the notorious Mauthausen Concentration Camp until liberation. Against this backdrop of unimaginable cruelty, Armin's life leaves us with a powerful message: even in the face of unspeakable evil, small acts of courage and kindness can endure, creating ripples of good that continue to inspire generations today.Ken Gluck, his son and the Education Coordinator for the Tennessee Holocaust Commission, is coming to the Spring Hill Library to share his story of extraordinary resilience and humanity.
