Fundamentals of Story Building | Story Reflection, Interpretation & Creation
Led by Nehal Parekh, this imaginative workshop introduces children to the many layers of storytelling through listening, reflection and creative exploration. Beginning with a collaborative soundscape exercise inspired by the sounds of a forest, participants are encouraged to step inside stories, interpret them in their own way, and gradually build original stories of their own.
Through discussion, visualisation, writing and performance activities, children will explore character, perspective and narrative while developing confidence in expressing their own ideas and imagination.
Participants will take away:
Greater confidence in creative thinking and self-expression
An introduction to story building, character and interpretation
Experience sharing ideas, responding to feedback and collaborating with others
