About this Event
Boston College's University Chorale and Chamber Singers take you on a journey from the heavens to the earth and from the waters up to the air, reflecting on our shared existence on this planet and how our actions have a profound effect on all. This concert features music by American composers and arrangers. Selections include pieces by Amy Beach, Rosephanye Powell, Frank Ticheli, Seth Houston, and Kyle Peterson.
The University Chorale is one of the oldest active organizations on Boston College's campus that is devoted to creating a community of singers who love music and each other. All 150+ members of the University Chorale consist of students and faculty members, and the chorus is led by Dr. Riikka Pietiläinen Caffrey.
Lose yourself in the splendor of rich choral music on Friday, February 20 at St. Ignatius Parish in Chestnut Hill at 7:00pm (doors will open at 6:30pm)! Like all of our concerts, this concert is FREE to attend, with a suggested $20 donation.
