About this Event
The Springs invites you to gather and celebrate the Earth that holds us! Join us for an entirely free community event focused on getting outdoors, gathering, & learning about our night skies, the nature of Texas, restoring the land, and traditional ways of cooking/creating!
To start the day, join us at the main entrance of Garner State Park (Garner State Park, 234 RR 1050, Concan, TX) at 9:00 AM on April 18, 2026, to meet the sun at the top of Baldy Mountain on a guided hike with Lucky Hikes.
Mosey over to The Springs Retreat at 4:00 PM for the start of our Mother Earth Celebration & craft market hour, where you can browse vendors offering everything from food to local clay pottery and leatherwork. Stick around for live music by Spadefoot Music and The Texas Tides!
Throughout the evening, enjoy guest speakers, demonstrations, and hands-on activities focused on restoring the land, Dutch oven cooking, basket weaving, and local clay pottery.
Stay awhile and enjoy the beauty of Leakey, TX. Watch the stars from your cabin porch as the night winds down at The Springs Retreat.
