The Spoken Word Lounge is a monthly, late-night spoken word event during 3rd in the Burg. When you come to the The Spoken Word Lounge, you'll have a cultural experience that features vibes and raw, unfiltered truths.

Each month carries its own intention: May's theme is Mental Health Matters. Speak about your healing, your pain, your survivial or the quiet battles of the mind.

Part of the proceeds will go to NAMI to support mental health advocacy and resources.
