An unmistakable Welsh working-class guitar band, with a story that belongs to anyone negotiating limited means and unlimited ambition.
About this Event

The Spitting Pips are an unmistakable Welsh working-class guitar band, but the story they're telling belongs to anyone negotiating limited means and unlimited ambition. The guitars punch, the rhythm section snaps, and Zack's vocal homes in on the line between resignation and resolve, always landing on the latter.

Join us for a massive hometown show as The Spitting Pips return.
Formed in 2014 and fuelled by British indie rock and 60s psychedelia, The Spitting Pips tore onto the scene with two explosive EPs — Acid Soul and You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet! — plus a run of relentless singles. What followed was chaos in motion: an endless two-year tour that ripped through the UK and across Europe, lighting up stages in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Hamburg and Bremerhaven.
They shared bills with legends — supporting Buzzcocks at Manchester’s Albert Hall and tearing up festival stages alongside Happy Mondays, Peter Hook & The Light, Inspiral Carpets, Echo & The Bunnymen and Cast.
Then, just as fast as they rose, it all imploded.
By 2017, after two years of rock ’n’ roll excess, controversy and hard living, The Spitting Pips disbanded. Burned bright. Gone too soon.
Until now.
The Pips are back — louder, sharper and more dangerous than ever. New singles Lowerclass Madness and Vicious Circles are already picking up airplay and praise, alongside a brand-new music video and freshly remastered re-releases of their original EPs. With more new music already recorded and live shows confirmed, this is shaping up to be the biggest year in the band’s history.
Unmistakable. Unfiltered. Unapologetic.
Prepare to be swallowed whole by their Acid Soul Rock ’n’ Roll wall of sound.
Be there. Av it.
