THE SPIRITUAL QUEST by Gary Kidgell (In Person)

The descent of spirit into matter, and its subsequent return to source, underlies all religious and esoteric teachings. The wisdom teachings describe the spiritual quest as the Spiritual Path or Path of Return. This workshop offers participants insight into the path of return describing the underlying metaphysical factors whilst providing practical ways for one to effect spiritual growth.

Gary will outline the esoteric human constitution including the lotus of Soul and ways in which we may unfold its symbolic petals; the classical concept of Initiation and the related teachings of Psychosynthesis by Roberto Assagioli; Carl Jung’s Individuation, the role of the psychopomp, the anima and animus, the shadow and the importance of dream symbolism; Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey symbolised in world mythology
