Christmas time is a time for family and togetherness. It is a time of warm greetings, fireplaces and gifts. It is also a time when it gets dark very early, creepy elves move around your house at night and you wait for a fat man to break into your house while hoofed beasts destroy your roof.
In The Spirits of Christmas, we will examine the darker side of Christmas. Where did Santa Claus come from? Who is Krampus and why is he tied to Christmas? Have you heard of La Befana, the Italian Christmas witch? We will see if we even conjure up some spirits of Christmas. This is just a taste of what you will experience.
This show is highly audience interactive and mixes history with performance, illusions and mentalism. It isn't all dark and creepy though. The show is full of comedy and fun. After all, we all want a little Christmas Cheer, but you may also leave with some Christmas chills.
