About this Event
"The Spirit of Nelson Mandela" is a free and open to the public family friendly event that includes a community engagement fair, conflict resolution workshops, a reception with light bites and refreshments followed by a performance and intergenerational conversation.
The goal of this event is to teach youth ages 6-24 and their families about the teachings of Nelson Mandela through resource sharing, workshops and celebration. That being said, the conflict resolution workshops are most appropriate for youth ages 12 and up.
The only portion of this event that requires an RSVP is the conflict resolution workshop due to limited capacity. The Center for Conflict Resolution will host the workshop from 3:00 - 4:00 pm and from 4:15 - 5:15 pm. Each workshop will have the same content, so choose which time works best for you!
