About this Event
Join us on this community event celebrating the rich cultural tapestry of Carnival traditions. As part of the BH365 programme, ‘The Spirit of Carnival’ will spotlight the African contributions to Carnival, delving into its history and significance across various communities. Originating from the African diaspora, Carnival embodies a vibrant celebration of cultural pride, resistance, and joy.
The project will feature six experienced groups, well-versed in promoting Carnival in London. Each group will deliver an interactive presentation, including dance or drumming workshops, sharing Carnival elements and cultural insights.
