The Spectators are a musical group from Las Vegas, Nevada. They play a variety of musical genres and have both young and older musicians as members. The leader and founder is Dr. LeRoy Henry, a retired Navy musician and a graduate of the Berklee College of Music, Boston. The band includes students from The Las Vegas Arts Academy, The College of Southern Nevada, and University of Nevada, Las Vegas and several veterans. The band features 4 horn players, Hammond organ, guitar, bass and drums and a lead singer that doubles on percussion.The Composers Room—where vintage Vegas meets modern charm in the heart of the Historical Commercial Center District. Presenting a menu of enjoyable food, upscale cocktails and memorable musical performances from today’s artists, The Composers Room provides an atmosphere recalling the iconic style and elegance of the past. Performers range from national touring artists to local singers and musicians, always spotlighting the varieties of music real music aficionados love most. The Composers Room was conceived in part as a tribute to Damian Costa’s family tradition of making Las Vegas show business a way of life. Damian’s grandmother and two grandfathers were involved in the local entertainment scene beginning in the 1960s. His paternal grandfather, Tony Costa, was a concert pianist and songwriter, vocal director for Vic Damone, as well as a conductor for famous shows such as ‘Jubilee!’ and ‘Gypsy’ on Broadway.
