This week, we'll feature world class young saxophonist Sam Vaughn for week 1 of his 2026 Jazz Night Residency! Sam is a powerhouse tenor saxophonist, with a sophisticated sound and vocabulary that extends far beyond his age. He recently released his first record featuring jazz legend "Eddie Gomez" on bass, a name that proves a bold jump into artistry for Vaughn. In addition, Sam is an innovative composer. We'll feature several of his compositions on these shows, along with his other favorite hard-hitting jazz tunes. Don't miss the first week of Sam Vaughn's residency at The Speakeasy!
