We’re turning THREE 💛And this year, our anniversary is about more than celebrating—it’s about coming together with purpose, remembrance, and heart.
In late 2023, Lindsay Walker, sister of our owner, passed away suddenly. In her honour, as a proud Indigenous women, and University of Alberta alumni, an endowment fund was created to support students in need. Designed to help ease the financial hardships of students, the Lindsay Walker Graduate Bursary in Rehabilitation Medicine is awarded annually to a University of Alberta student who is a First Nation, Inuit, or Métis person of Canada, with satisfactory academic standing, enrolled in any year of a graduate degree within the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine.
As a dedicated and incredibly hard-working physiotherapist, Lindsay was deeply committed to her craft. She continually sought to expand her knowledge through a seemingly never-ending series of courses, seminars, and professional upgrades—including acupuncture and IMS. Filled with kindness, tenderness, and care, Lindsay was deeply passionate about her work, devoted to her patients, and fiercely determined to reduce the pain and suffering of others. This devotion carries a bittersweet weight, as she herself lived with daily physical and mental anguish—yet continued to show up for others with compassion and strength.
To honour Lindsay’s legacy, we’re hosting a full weekend of movement, connection, and giving back. Every class you love, every instructor you trust, and a variety of free practitioner info sessions—all in support of the Lindsay Walker Quality of Life Fund.
