About this Event

We have planned a tremendous afternoon of excitement for our Soul of Sycamore Juneteenth Celebration Music and Art Festival Saturday June 19, 2021 at 12pm-10pm. At Sycamore Park Pavilion 2525 E. Rosedale St, Fort Worth, TX 76105, we umbrella many different prevention and character programs that focus on unity and developing the community, We need your full support and participation to make this event successful.
Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Dating back to 1865, it was on June 19 th  that the Union soldiers, led by Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free. This Day will be another day in History that we can come together as a community to make a positive change and gain awareness. We are witnessing the dream and bringing peace into our community. We must come together some way, some how and show the peace in our hearts to our youth. When our days are Peaceful; our days are Powerful!
