About this Event

THE SOFTIES: thesofties.bandcamp.com/music

"The Softies, comprised of Rose Melberg and Jen Sbragia, embody timeless themes of friendship and self-discovery through their minimalist pop soundworld. Since their formation in 1994, they've created uncluttered and fearlessly vulnerable music, contrasting with prevailing trends. The Bed I Made, The Softies’ first new studio album in 24 years, showcases growth while reflecting on life's complexities with lyrics drawn from real experiences. Despite individual pursuits and personal losses, Melberg and Sbragia reunite, channeling grief and rejuvenation into an album that captures the essence of their enduring friendship and offers hope and renewal amid life's challenges. Through their perfectly-paired harmonies and telepathic playing, they navigate the present, past, and future, offering a poignant continuation of their musical legacy, resonating like time spent with an old friend who knows you best." -Artist Bio

SEAPONY: seapony.bandcamp.com/album/a-vision

"Seapony sounds every bit as soft and dreamy as their name implies. The band formed in 2010 and soon posted a handful of recordings online before being snatched up by then-fledgling label Double Denim Records who released their debut 7″ single, “Dreaming.” Following the success of the single, the band landed on Sub Pop imprint Hardly Art for their debut LP, “Go With Me,” which showcased their signature gauzy layered guitars and whispered-secret vocals. They followed up with a second LP on Hardly Art in 2012 titled “Falling,” before self-releasing their final album, “A Vision,” in 2015. The band has since been on indefinite hiatus but decided to reform for a one-off to help celebrate the new album by long-time heroes The Softies." -Artist Bio

Lisa Prank is the solo pop-punk project of Seattle-based musician Robin Edwards. She has toured extensively and released two full-length records, Adult Teen (2016) and Perfect Love Song (2019) on Father/Daughter Records.
