The SoCo Spring Clean is back and now in its eighth year! Join local volunteers on a litter pick around Sonning Common parish. Kit for adults and children is available including pickers, gloves, hi-viz and bags will be provided.
No experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm!
Please meet at Sonning Common Village Hall at 10am to sign in and attend a short safety briefing before meeting your team leader and walking out to the picking location.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. You will also need suitable shoes such as trainers, walking boots or wellies and to dress appropriately for the weather, as the event will take place outdoors come rain or shine.
We have identified a number of areas in the village where we will pick litter. Some of these areas are not suitable for children but event organisers will be on hand to help direct you to most appropriate area.
We plan to pick for an hour or so before heading back to the Village Hall to return kit and where refreshments will be available.
We expect the event to finish around midday but this will be flexible. You can return kit to the village hall at any point during the event.
