Hey Book Worms 📚🪱You know when you see a book club and really want to join… but you’re not into the book they’ve picked, or you know you won’t finish it in time? Well, The Social Revival 🌎 is here to fix that.
What if you could enjoy the comfort and company of other book lovers, without being told what to read? Well, that's exactly what we're doing with BYOB BOOK CLUB 📘 A book club with zero pressure, just good vibes and great reads.
How it works: Bring along whatever you’re currently reading and settle in with your fellow book lovers. We’ll spend the first hour quietly reading, then the second hour chatting about what we’ve read, how we’re feeling, and sharing recommendations. A variety of snacks will be available to keep you refreshed.
No deadlines. No assigned reading. Just discovering new books through real conversations and genuine recommendations.
📍 New Farm Park, Brunswick Street, Brisbane🗓 Sunday 26th April 2026⏰ 10AM – 12PM
IMPORTANT: Exact meeting location will be emailed to you the night before the event. Be sure to check your email so you know where to find us. Blankets and pillows to sit on will be provided but feel free to also bring your own.
📚 We’ll have a few spare books available if you’re between reads or feel like switching things up on the day.
💕COME SOLO FRIENDLY💕 We expect and plan for lots of people coming alone. We'll have a host facilitating and making sure you're settled and comfortable.
This club is going to be so fun and we can't wait for you to join us!
The Social Revival 🌎 Our mission is to help people connect and master the art of socialising. We ask that you be respectful of other guests and stay open to meeting new people of all types. We won’t force you to talk to anyone you don’t want to, but we do encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and chat with people you wouldn’t normally. You’d be surprised how much we humans have in common at our core 🫶🏼
