About this Event
Join us for a relaxed and accessible creative writing workshop for ages 16+. No previous writing experience is expected and there will be no pressure to share your writing. All you need to bring is a pen and your favourite notebook.
Inspired by Henri Eugène Le Sidaner’s painting ‘The Snow’, writer and facilitator Kirsty Strang-Roy will guide us through gentle writing prompts that can be repeated at home.Drawing on the painting’s play of light and darkness, we will explore how these themes resonate in today’s turbulent world. What does it mean to write into the darkness? What brings us light in these darker months? How can we capture the unique qualities of light through the written word?
This session is free however spaces are limited. If you are unable to attend please cancel your ticket so that it is available for another visior.
