✨ the sky hasn't fallen-yet presents... an evening threading the act of poetry and care ✨
Join us for a night presenting poetry as a tool of care, connection and reflection through readings by Umang Kalra and Laika Dallaway, a poetry open mic open to everyone, a zine activity by A La Carte! Zine, a mini zine fair & more. This will be a space to share some new ideas and some new language with others.
6:00pm: doors / poetry open mic sign-ups
7:00-7:20pm: Laika Dallaway reading
7:20-7:40pm: Umang Kalra reading
8:00-9:00pm: poetry open mic
mini zine fair throughout the night & music after 9pm!
£5 entry fee* to cover the costs of running the event
Any remaining proceeds will be donated to Voices of Children, a charity providing psychological support and art therapy to families and children suffering from the war in Ukraine. https://voices.org.ua/
*If you are unable to afford the entry fee please email bella90021@gmail. There is no need for an explanation as we understand people face different financial circumstances. We aim to make the event as inclusive and accessible as possible.
