The Sketchbook Social is a relaxed community art meetup where neighbors gather to sketch, slow down, and enjoy a creative morning outdoors.
✏️ This week’s focus: Value & Contrast
Building on last week’s Light & Shadow, we’ll explore how light and dark work together to create clarity, depth, and focus in a drawing. Even small shifts in contrast can dramatically improve readability and mood — especially in architectural and urban sketches.
This session is beginner-friendly and great for anyone wanting their drawings to feel stronger and more intentional.
Payment can be made in person (cash or digital). No advance signup required — just show up and draw.
