The next synth meet is 17th of March, 6:30 to 9pm in Howler Theatre room. (Back room) Entry is FREE!
Normal synth meet for the first hour. Bring in a piece of gear, share and chat hardware. (See instructions a few paragraphs down).
Then - Thru-Zero performs for us, crafting raw experimental electronic music-shaping instability and texture into immersive, physical sound.
Finally - Tips & Tricks!
This will be the first time we have tried a session like this. So it's a lesson for everyone. Including me. Tips & Tricks is all about production and performance with live hardware, whether in the studio or out. Four experienced live performers will share their methods for production and performance on a piece of gear of their choice. Open for discussion and the floor will always be open for questions.
Our guest presenters are:
Jani Ho
Shay Doe
Honeysmack
Lincoln Webber
There is a strictly "no drink over synths" policy. Unless it's your synth, in which case it's at your own risk!
Instructions on the synth share: Every synth meet, in the first hour, it's 'bring a synth to share'. It can be anything from a groovebox, drum machine, synth or any electronic music making box. Feel free to play with all the synths in the room, except for the live jam setup (should be in the middle of the room). There is a strictly "no drink over synths" policy. Unless it's your synth, in which case it's at your own risk! If you do plan on bringing gear (of any description) please get in touch so we make sure there is ample table space. Bring a pair of headphones as well please. Patrons also feel free to bring your own pair of headphones if that makes you more comfortable.

Any questions feel free to DM Age Rachele.
See you there.
Note it's 'burger night' at Howler. Good quality cheap burger and a beer.
Thanks again to Kevin from Stable Music for organising the space and Howler for providing the space. You are both doing the Naarm synth community a great service.
The Signal Path Synth meet is a safe space. Zero tolerance on discrimination, harassment or any other emotional or physical harm.
The Signal Path acknowledges the traditional owners of the land on which we will be meeting, and to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
The Signal Path supports the call for an end to the genocide in Gaza and right of self determination of the Palestinian people and creation of a Palestinian State. The Signal Path supports all people of Jewish faith and birth to live free of persecution and stands with the Jewish people around the globe calling for an end to the genocide. We stand with the people of Sudan and call for an end to that genocide. And we stand with the people of Iran and call for the end of slaughter of innocent civilians and an end to a brutal regime. The silence from Iran is deafening. We call for all people around the globe to human rights and the freedom of self determination.
