As part of our on going mission to celebrate the Shuffle turning 20 this year we bring you another fantastic night of music, in true Shuffle fashion. For this gig we are picking the cream of the crop from around the region and beyond, inspired by the work of BBC Introducing.
*THE TAMERS*
Home-town heroes, The Tamers were formed by lead singer Jacob Harley and guitarist Matt Clark, who spent 2023–2024 crafting the band’s foundations, inspired by Nothing But Thieves, Queens of the Stone Age, Dead Poets Society and Led Zeppelin. Joined by Ozzie Graham on drums and Martin Blunt on bass, they deliver a fresh yet familiar energy to the alt-rock scene.
On the back of a thunderous 2025, featuring airplay on Radio X , BBC Introducing in the West , and Amazing Radio, alongside a sold-out debut headline show at The Louisiana in Bristol, The Tamers are having an even bigger 2026 with a run of nationwide gigs and festival appearances lined up, culminating in a some major headline shows later in the year. This will be complemented by a steady stream of releases throughout 2026, before they return to the studio in September to record their forthcoming EP
For Shuffle trivia fans: some of the band have played the Shuffle before, as part of Concord Drive.
*LUNA ROSA*
Coming to us straight outta Northamptonshire, where they have been heavily backed by their local BBC Introducing, we are very excited to be able to bring Luna Rosa to Swindon as they launch latest single "Lift Me Up". Previous releases gained airplay on BBC6 Music, BBC Introducing, Radio X and an array of others including 50 stations in Europe.
The quartet have toured relentlessly around the UK playing over 300 shows in their short time. Sold out shows, headline slots and chances to grace large festival stages such as Dot To Dot Festival have seen them join big names such as: Reef, The Horrors, Lightning Seeds, Glen Matlock, Space and The Bluetones, to name a few.
Music site Louderthanwar had this to say about the band: "The most strident, pissed-off Psychedelia - a stadium-sized exorcism pf shoegaze and rage with impressionistic poetics".
Well, who are we to argue with that? Just don't miss them - it will be one of "those" Shuffle moments.
*FLORA FIORA*
Flora Fiora is an indie/pop singer-songwriter and performer based in Gloucestershire, UK. With sounds that are comparable to the likes of Olivia Roderigo and Florence and the Machine, and the
lyrical style of Taylor Swift and Lizzy McApline. Flora Fiora puts her heart and soul into her music, in the hope that her listeners will feel it and do the same.
From soft emotive - almost folk - ballads, to a heavier pop / punk live sound, Flora Fiora’s live shows are feast for the senses. The support from BBC introducing south/southwest and other radio stations, has allowed many of Flora’s single releases to reach a wider audience and to attain some of her most loyal following.
Flora has recently surpassed one million global streams across the major streaming platforms.
For Shuffle trivia fans: Flora hasn't played The Shuffle yet, but did wow crowds at sister event Swinterfest earlier this year.
