The Showdown is set to occur at the esteemed Nutrien Western Event Centre on the Calgary Stampede grounds in Calgary, Alberta. This high-stakes, one-day event will gather the elite in Reining, Working Cow Horse, and Cutting, highlighting the top talents in western performance horse sports.

The purpose of The Showdown is to unite supporters of these three western performance horse sports to celebrate and preserve the western heritage that forms their foundation. Currently, there is no event in Canada where spectators can witness Reining, Working Cow Horse, and Cutting all together; The Showdown will present Canada's finest performers under one roof on a single day!
