The SHoW Town Hall Meeting

Join us Monday February 2nd from 12-2 pm for The Society of Hospitality Workers first town hall meeting (with coffee!) Followed by a mingling hour with snacks and beer.

Our objective is to bring together the hospitality community monthly to talk openly about the state of the industry and its shortcomings. We are there to be a resource for you when navigating issues endemic to the industry such as wage theft or unfair treatment in the work place.

The Society (of) Hospitality Workers is a democratic organization of workers who join together to collectively work towards better workplaces. Our objective is to have a unified voice as an industry, and to work towards better wages, benefits, safer working environments, and better treatment across the entire sector. Sign up to be a member at https://withtheshow.org/membership Our first initiative is a portable benefits program for all hospitality workers. Once we have 500 members, we can start approaching companies to work out a portable benefits package for all members. This does not affect your employer and does not require company wide enrolment.
