Arguably the most influential surfboard shaper of the 1960s and 1970s Dick Brewer has often been called the father of the modern-day surfboard. He changed the design of surfing equipment not once not twice but three times in his 50-year career as a trailblazer with all the notorious tales that have until now remained just rumored legends.
Directed and edited with the skill of a lifelong cinematographer Bob Campi this biopic captures the rise fall and ultimate redemption of visionary who changed the world of surfing forever a trailblazer throughout his career. The filmmakers tell his story with phenomenal cinematography and archival footage coupled with a retro soundtrack that will take you back to the era where surfers and board designers redefined what riding a wave could be.
