The Several Devil's Band LIVE at Paddy's Irish Pub on Saturday, December 13th!The Several Devils is one of Fayetteville N.C.’s longest-running bands. In a music scene filled to the brim with metal and hard rock bands, the band has stood out by playing a blend of Southern rock, soul, blues, and country, which they self-describe as “Cape Fear River Music”.
In 2009, Adrian Warwick and longtime cohort Joey Miller decided they had grown out of performing heavy metal in a town they felt was oversaturated with the genre. Initially, the two experimented with songs in the Southern rock style they had grown up listening to and performed under no name at all at the now-defunct but legendary, Jesters Pub. The music stood out, and soon, venues were clamoring to book the band with no name. Recognizing the interest in what they were doing, Warwick and Miller made it official and became The Several Devils.
The Several Devils have gained a loyal fan base without venturing too far outside of the state. Miller believes the music is uniquely North Carolinian, as the band has taken to writing songs about the community in which they grew up. Undeniably one of Fayetteville’s most loved acts, The Several Devils now mount an effort to bring the magic that is Cape Fear River Music to the nation and beyond!
