The Sensory Sanctuary, Finding Safety In the Bodies Of Those With Chronic Conditions is a workshop for those who feel like they are at constant war with their bodies. Individuals who have tried to seek out answers from a doctor, only to have their symptoms dismissed. Those who are often asked to explain their condition because it may not be visible to the world. It is lonely and exhausting advocating for yourself while you are trying to heal in a world that doesn't fully understand what you are going through. To find equanimity in an ever-changing season of your life. We see you. We hear you. We feel you.
This is a supportive space where individuals with chronic conditions can gently return to their bodies, cultivating a sense of safety through the wisdom of the five senses. A gentle somatic practice, embodiment meditation, journaling, finding community in a safe, non-judgemental space. We hope to see you there.
