About this Event
Forgiveness often gets painted as something we do to let someone else off the hook, a kind of absolution for someone who’s wronged us. But in my experience, forgiveness is so much more personal than that.
True forgiveness is an act of self-liberation. It’s a way to unchain ourselves from the weight of the past, releasing that invisible bond that ties us to a moment or a person—even if that person is our own self. It’s as though forgiveness offers us a key to a door we thought would always remain locked.
In opening that door, we find the possibility of a deeper, more compassionate understanding of ourselves and the people who walk through our lives. It's an act that transforms from within, revealing parts of our heart we may not have known existed.
