** The Secret Beach **
The Secret Beach is the moniker used by Winnipeg, Manitoba songwriter, Micah Erenberg, who’s refreshingly plainspoken candor has become a dominant through-line in the singer/songwriters ever-expanding catalog. Whether releasing records under his own name, or lending his talents as a producer, Erenberg exists in a constant whirlpool of creation.
The Secret Beach has been nominated for Adult Alternative Album of the Year at the 2025 Juno Awards for their album "We Were Born Here, What's Your Excuse?"

** Jack Garton **
Based on Galiano Island, Jack Garton is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for his unique combination of trumpet and accordion playing, and for his storytelling that expresses his love of life’s beautiful imperfections. Garton’s show is a blend of folk and roots, steeped heavily in the rockabilly and doo-wop that were his first musical loves. Jack has performed solo and with many beloved bands and theatre companies throughout North America and Europe, and featured recently in the Firehall Arts Centre’s production of Chelsea Hotel: The Songs Of Leonard Cohen.

** Creekbed Carter **
For trans Texan folksinger Creekbed Carter Hogan, everything good is made from the rotten stump of something else – and thank god for that. Their new self-titled album Creekbed Carter, released in 2024 with Gar Hole Records, weaves stories of growing up religious around songs that pierce the soul, tickle the funny bone, and showcase a unique blend of traditional finger picking and queer mayhem. Drawing comparisons to John Prine, Karen Dalton, and Elliott Smith, Creekbed Carter is, above all, an act of resilience: a flaming sword that both creator and listener can use to cut their way out and through, together.
