Synopsis:

The Second Night by Marc D. Lyons.

A fictionalized account of the hours leading up to a Primary Election Rally of a prominent U.S. Senator in 1968.

Packed into a Rehearsal studio in Washington D.C following the Democratic primary election of a prominent Senator. Five celebrities and one very determined talent manager are gathered for a one night only concert and fundraiser. The play recreates the ambiance of the era and invokes the hopes inspired by individuals on the horizon of a new era intercut with dramatic sequences of their present day.
