About this Event
M5 is more than just a makerspace — it’s where Electrical and Computer Engineering students at UMass Amherst experiment, collaborate, and innovate. With 5,000 sq. ft. of labs, meeting rooms, and creative space, M5 has been fueling hands‑on learning, entrepreneurship, and cutting‑edge projects since 2008.
If you’ve ever received support from M5, whether you’ve taken a class, attended an event, or worked as a staff member, the second annual M5 Telethon is a great opportunity to show your appreciation and help sustain this thriving community.
This eight-hour fundraising marathon will feature special alumni appearances, thrilling demonstrations, and inspiring talks- all in support of M5's mission. Saturday, 25 April 2026, 9 AM - 5 PM EDT -Live from M5! You can impact the next generation of engineers!
Refreshments will be provided throughout, and a cash bar will be offered from 3 PM - 6 PM.
Your support will enable us to offer students more project grants, more training opportunities, more electronic components, more external professional fabrications (of PCBs, etc), more test equipment, more staff support, and a more welcoming community environment.
