Konstantin, desperate to create something new and be taken seriously, stages an experimental work inspired by Nina, a young woman yearning for a life devoted to art. As Nina is drawn toward the promise of fame and love offered by a celebrated novelist, Konstantin’s artistic and emotional foundations begin to fracture.
