77' Punk and Synth-Punk
Against a science fiction backdrop, they offer a UFO, a retro-futuristic hybrid of 77' Punk and Synth-Punk, which would have crossed a space-time rift ... and live, it's as if the RAMONES had taken a synth ...
Like aliens, The Scaners evolve quickly and well. After the European release of their first single in October 2017, followed by their 1st album in 2018, THE SCANERS have ravaged Europe, voted revelation of the year at FUNTASTIC DRACULA CARNIVAL, they've become our Spanish neighbors' favorite Synth Punk band and have invaded the planet. Top of the digital platforms, reviews in "Rock & Folk", "New Noise", etc. Tours in Europe, UK festival headliners: Freak Land Festival (ES), Action Weekend Festival (ES), Festival Beerock (ES), Hipsville festival (UK), Le son du Porte-voix Festival (FR), so the release of their 1st album gave them a big year in 2018.
2019 will keep the same intensity, with the release of the second album on Dirty Water Records & Adrenalin Fix Music. The band continues to tour Europe, and crosses the Atlantic for Seattle's Freakout Festival, taking the opportunity to tour the US. The legendary band THE BRIEFS invited THE SCANERS to open for them on their France/UK tour.
Even in hyperspace, the pandemic had its impact, and the Scaners took the opportunity to write their third album. Announced in Rock'n'Folk magazine's list of 50 bands to discover... it's safe to say that this new album comes at just the right time, scheduled for release on March 22, 2024.
