Puts Marie is a Swiss indie band that defies easy categorization, blending alternative rock, jazz, and hip-hop into a sound that is both raw and refined. Formed in Biel over 20 years ago, they’ve evolved from van-dwelling buskers to one of Europe's most enigmatic live acts. Their latest album, Pigeons, Politicians & Pin-Ups During the End Time of Mankind, pushes boundaries once again, fusing hypnotic rhythms, haunting harmonies, and decentered guitar work into a deeply atmospheric experience. Always unpredictable, always intense—Puts Marie continues to reinvent itself with every release.
Im Jahr 2007 erblickte die Wee Lil’Band das Licht der Welt: Genotyp Punk, Phänotyp Alternative Country. Als erstes Lebenszeichen erschien 2009 das Debüt-Album beim Kölner Garagen-Label High Noon Rec. Zwischenzeitlich musste die Band zwar unter Zuhilfenahme von Akustikgitarren und virtuellen Drummern am Leben gehalten werden, mittlerweile wächst und gedeiht die kleine Band aber wieder fröhlich vor sich hin und frönt, um Bass und Schlagzeug erweitert, verstärkt ihrer psychedelischen und noisigen Seite, wie man auf der gerade veröffentlichten EP (bei Spotify oder Apfel Musik) hören kann.
