The Scales: A Tribute to Phish return to Buffalo Iron Works on Friday, January 9th, 2026!The Scales:
The Scales started out as four friends & fellow Phans who one day decided to get together and jam on their favorite songs by their favorite band, just for fun (and to cure a bit of Covid boredom). The Buffalo, NY-based foursome loved the jams so much that they decided to form a band, creating videos on social media and live streaming their smooth, atonal sound, as the world waited out the pandemic from home.
Since then, The Scales have performed all around Western New York, including Buffalo Iron Works, Nietzsche’s, Tralf Music Hall & The Cave, respectfully performing and interpreting the incredible compositions and unpredictable improvisational journeys that anyone can expect to experience at any Phish show. Highlights include an appearance at the 2025 edition of the Borderland Music and Arts Festival, and the April 2025 edition of Classic Vinyl Live with Jeff Miers at Sportsmens’ Tavern, where the band performed Phish’s iconic live album “A Live One” from front to back.
Come on out - we hope to see you sharing in the groove!
