About this Event
The Sanctuary Project is a multimedia experience that explores healing through grief in community. Co-founders Azeb M. Freitas and Eskedar Girmash host creative wellness workshops centered in arts therapy based practices and somatic healing exercises to fund performances such as Remembrance. Remembrance, written by Eskedar, is a poem reflecting on the experience of grief that will be performed through movement, choreographed by Azeb. This will be the first time Remembrance will be performed ever. We welcome you to join us in the grand debut and world premiere of this piece.
