Time for another framily picnic: Salad Days!Connect with a few local shenaniganizers, burners, artists, weirdos + experience collectors! This is a chill collaborative event: we welcome gifting, art, teaching and sharing from your current capacity levels. Costumes, art, making stuff, sharing snacks + shenanigans encouraged:
share stories of adventures and plan new ones!
Why ‘laugh alone with salad’ when you can share ‘trips to flavour country’ with other delightful weirdos?
Where: Coronation Park, 711 Lakeshore West. We are usually in the grass on the west side of the park between the sportsball field and the lake somewhere with a picnic table for foods.
When: 1-7pm on August 16th!
What: A picnic we make together with great snacks and vibes. Salad appreciation + summer adventure story sharing
Weather: We are hoping for great weather and will still show up with chances of sprinkles but not if it’s pouring buckets.
There will be a camp stove if people need to cook/ warm things up. There may even be grilled cheeses (while supplies last). Our Souper Lumberjacks gathering was so heckin’ delicious we figured it was time to give Salad her flowers.
Bring:
* Salad plate/ bowl and spork or salad eating utensil(s) of choice
* Sharing salad and things to eat salad with + on for yourself.
* Chair, picnic blankets, shenanigans/ craft/ flow toys/ games/ whatever else you’d like to share.
* A Cup: please note that Coronation Park is not a legal drinking park in Toronto so please no open alcohol containers
* Bring enthusiasm to try new things and meet new folks.
* There’s something about Mayo: please do something to keep food things cold. With the heat we’ve been having we will probably have a shared cooler and attempt to stagger salad servings vs let them get a tan on the food table.
